Audience feedback from our Short Film

The feedback we received for our short film 'Facebook Famous' was agreeable as we did have a few mistakes which made our short film look not as professional as we would have liked it to be. The first problem we were told was about our actors as they were not fit for the role we had them playing, the actors had no experience and this was their first time hence the reason they were not as confident. We were also told that if the actors were playing a 'geek' role they needed to look like it as they were dressed to casual, we didn't inform them with clothing, we only told them the role they would be playing. Another comment which was based around the film was that the editing could have been improved, the problem we faced with this was having to sync the music lyrics we also had to make it realistic. We were told the camera shots we used were good and mainly the one when one of the actors was walking down the stairs with this we used continuity editing to clearly show the audience what he was doing. Overall we did receive some good feedback and this can always help us if we had to do the task again. If we were given a chance to improve our work the one thing I would change would be the actors as I would tell someone whos had previous experience.

Short Film - Facebook Famous

Editing

During this week we started editing our short films. We came across a few problems which made it harder for us to edit as we had to reshoot due to lighting.

Filming

These are images from where the filming took place. the party scene was set. From the first day of filming we realised the next day we had problems with the lighting so we had to reshoot. we had to leave one scene from the film this was when they go to the shot instead of including it we changed the storyboard.
